Check PHP version
php -v
Get software
$ sudo wget http://downloads3.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86-64.tar.gz
or
https://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php
Check which PHP Configuration file is working
php -i | grep php.ini
Add the extension to PHP
sudo nano /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini
Go at the bottom and enter the following command
zend_extension = /usr/local/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_7.4.so
